Additionally, Hydéns (2002) model of the structure of laws was applied to create an understanding of the effects of the law. The result of the study suggests that the incorporation of the CRC lacked preparations and guidelines, according to the social workers. Moreover, the decision makers described that the CRC collides with other Swedish laws that contain stronger norms, such as the parent’s rights to decide in contrast to the children’s right to be heard. In conclusion the decision makers do not perceive a big difference in their work since the incorporation of the CRC. They do on the other hand hope that the CRC will show effects within social work in Sweden in the future.
