Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

Abstract
The purpose was to examine if there is a correlation between the level of antisocial behaviour and level of self-esteem and self-efficacy. The thesis was that the higher level of antisocial behaviour correlates with a higher level of self-efficacy, but a lower level of self-esteem. The method used was online survey, with a total of 111 participants between the ages of 18 and 30. The survey consisted of three parts, whereof the first two were standardized tests measuring selfefficacy and self-esteem. The third part examined antisocial behaviour and consisted of different scenarios with answers. The result from this study did not show any significant correlation between antisocial behaviour and self-efficacy (r = -0.0377), nor between... (More)

The result from this study did not show any significant correlation between antisocial behaviour and self-efficacy (r = -0.0377), nor between antisocial behaviour and self-esteem (r = 0.0241), which is contrary to previous research. However, there was some significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and self-esteem (r = 0.44). Nevertheless, no high results were found from the part that measured antisocial behaviour, which most likely affected the result. Therefore, it would be of relevance to see this study as a pilot study, and in the future instead explore a selection group where there is previous knowledge of exhibiting high levels of antisocial behaviour.
