Omkörningsförbud E6 - Resultat och effekter

Denna rapport behandlar väg E6 mellan Helsingborg-Vellinge med avseende på
omkörningsförbudet för tung trafik som infördes den 18e mars år 2019. Väg E6 genom hela
Skåne har under en lång tid präglats av trafiksäkerhets- och framkomlighetsproblem. Denna
rapport skrevs i syfte att utreda på vilka sätt omkörningsförbudet påverkat just dessa faktorerna,
d.v.s. framkomlighet och trafiksäkerhet.
För att kunna analysera sträckan och få en bild av hur förbudet påverkat den har data inhämtats
genom mätningar vid en punkt längs med vägen. Här har videoklipp, flödesdata och
hastighetsdata tagits fram. Dessa har sedan använts för att kunna analysera händelser och hur

Skåne har under en lång tid präglats av trafiksäkerhets- och framkomlighetsproblem. Denna
rapport skrevs i syfte att utreda på vilka sätt omkörningsförbudet påverkat just dessa faktorerna,
d.v.s. framkomlighet och trafiksäkerhet.
För att kunna analysera sträckan och få en bild av hur förbudet påverkat den har data inhämtats
genom mätningar vid en punkt längs med vägen. Här har videoklipp, flödesdata och
hastighetsdata tagits fram. Dessa har sedan använts för att kunna analysera händelser och hur
dessa händelser sedan påverkat trafiken. Även ett formulär skickades ut för att kunna ta del av
trafikanternas syn på trafiken.
Resultat som framtogs visade på att mycket av den rena statistiken längs med sträckan såg bra ut.
Hastigheter var varken för höga eller för låga, flödena låg på rimliga nivåer och väld igt få
omkörningar av tung trafik skedde under förbudet. Det man kunde se här var dock tydliga dippar
i hastigheter vid omkörningar eller andra störningar. Resultatet av enkäten blev totalt 103 svar.
Från enkäten kunde man tyda att många förare tyckte att sträckan var störningskänslig och att det
var mycket problem köbildning.
Slutsatserna som kunde dras utifrån resultatet av datainsamlingen var att sträckan är väldigt
störningskänslig. Man ser tydligt när störningar sker då det påverkar hastigheter väldigt skarpt.
Omkörningsförbudet har dock påverkat sträckan väldigt positivt. Olyckor har sjunkit i och med
att omkörningar sker mer sällan och en stor störning har tagits bort som tidigare påverkat
framkomligheten. Därav var slutsatsen att omkörningsförbudet haft en mycket positiv påverkan
på både sträckan trafiken.

prohibition for heavy traffic which was introduced on the 18th of March 2019. Road E6 through

The results which were found showed that a lot of the pure statistics along the road seemed to be
good. Speeds were neither too high nor too low, traffic flows were at a reasonable level and very
few overtakings were seen during the prohibition. What you could see though was clear dips in
speeds when overtakings or other interferences happened. The result from the form was a total of
103 answers. From the form you could see that a lot of drivers thought the road were susceptible
to interference and that car queues were a big problem.
The conclusions that could be reached from analyzing the data was that the road is very
susceptible to interference. One can clearly see when interferences happen due to the very large
effect it has on the car speeds. The overtaking prohibition has affected the road very positively.
Number of accidents has decreased due to less overtakings and a big interference has been
removed which earlier affected the availability. Due to this, the conclusion was reached that the
overtaking prohibition has had a very positive impact on both the road and the traffic.
