- Abstract
- The present study focused on the quality of interactions based on the goal of promoting a psychologically healthy workplace. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and its constructs, the purpose was to investigate the cognitive conditions that precede inclusive behavior and which of these constructs that are the most important. Inclusive behavior is defined as a prosocial behavior category and three example behaviors was used to represent it in the study. A pilot survey was conducted in which beliefs about inclusive behavior were explored within the population. The beliefs formed a basis for the measurements of the construct in the TPB that were included in the study's main survey. The main survey was sent via email to employees of... (More)

The main survey was sent via email to employees of Swedish media companies. The survey responses were analyzed using correlations and a multiple regression analysis. The result showed that injunctive norm, attitude and perceived control can be used individually to predict the intention for inclusive behavior. When all predictor variables were used together in a multiple regression, the injunctive norm proved to be the construct that could most successfully predict the intention for inclusive behavior. Finally, limitations are discussed for using uniquely explained variance to assess which constructs are most important for predicting intention. (Less)
- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
