Lämplig infrastruktur för automatiserade fordon

Abstract
The development of the heavy automated vechiles is progressing at a fast rate, with the digital infrastructure allot of reasearch has been made to understand how the automated vechiles will drive on the roads with the conventional vechiles. Tests are being made on the infrastruture without the usages of conventional vechiles. Not many projcts have been carried out in sweden or internationally to investigate which requirments are needed to get the automated vechiles driving on the highways.
In Sweden several tests has been made involving the automated busses in Stockholm and Helsingborg. Shuttlebusses are programmed to drive between two diffrent coordinates. There even exists the automated truck Vera from volvo that are planned to drive... (More)
The development of the heavy automated vechiles is progressing at a fast rate, with the digital infrastructure allot of reasearch has been made to understand how the automated vechiles will drive on the roads with the conventional vechiles. Tests are being made on the infrastruture without the usages of conventional vechiles. Not many projcts have been carried out in sweden or internationally to investigate which requirments are needed to get the automated vechiles driving on the highways.
In Sweden several tests has been made involving the automated busses in Stockholm and Helsingborg. Shuttlebusses are programmed to drive between two diffrent coordinates. There even exists the automated truck Vera from volvo that are planned to drive between two destinations in the near future.
But can the implementation of the automated vechiles give a posetive change to the society, if so how? And how to make it work safely. The mix with conventional vechiles is a factor that has to be looked on and researched to get a better understanding of the relation.
The project purpose are to find out which requirments the automated vechiles puts on the infrastruture and the potential with todays infrastrucutre. But also to see if the implementation of the new technology will increase the accesesiblity on the roads.
A littraturestudie has been made to get a better understanding in the field, also interviews with Trafikverket and Trivector to get a deeper understaning in the subject. Method used in this project was Multikriteraanalysis and four-step principle to get diffrent alternatives 1-2 for the most effective solution. Were alternative 1 is to optimize the road and alternative 2 is to construst a new trafiklane for the automated vechiles.
Multikriteriaanalysis shows that alternative 1 is the most effective solution because it has almost the same effects on the infrastrucutre as alternative 2. But alternative 1 is much more profitable and easier to implement in todays infrastructure.
Conclusion of this project is that both alternatives need to be implemented beacuse for a developed infrastructure isent only used for todays needs but also for the future development of the infrastrucutre for the future generations. Alternatives 1 and 2 makes that a possibility to a happen. (Less)

Men kan införandet av automatiserade fordon vara en positiv utveckling i samhället samt hur ska man få det att fungera på ett tryggt och säkert vis? Beblandningen med konventionella framförda fordon är faktor som måste ses över och undersökas hur det skall fungera samt på vilka sätt.
Arbetes syfte är att ta reda på vilka krav automatiserade fordon ställer på infrastrukturen och upptäcka deras potential i dagens infrastruktur. Även se om implementeringen av den nya tekniken kommer öka tillgängligheten på vägarna.
En litteraturstudie utfördes för att öka kunskaperna inom området, det gjordes även intervjuer med Trafikverket och Trivector för att få en fördjupad förståelse i ämnet. Man använde sig även av en multikriterieanalys och fyrstegsprincip för att får fram olika utredningsalternativ 1–2 och utesluta det effektivaste beslutsläget. Där utredningsalternativen var 1 optimera vägen eller 2 bygga ett nytt körfält för de automatiserade fordonen.
Multikriterieanalysen visade att utredningsalternativ 1 var den effektivaste lösningen eftersom den hade nästan samma effekt som utredningsalternativ 2 men den var mycket mer lönsam och enklarare att införa med dagens infrastruktur.
Men slutsatsen blev att man implementerar både utredningsalternativen 1–2 eftersom en utvecklad infrastruktur inte enbart framställer dagens behov utan även underlättar utvecklingen för framtida generationer och båda utredningsalternativen gör det möjligt. (Less)
