Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
Abstract
This study is included in a quality assurance of a treatment centre in southern Sweden. Using a longitudinal quantitative study design, a group of women (N=31), exposed to domestic violence, prior to four subsequent therapeutic treatment occasions estimated their psychological well-being based on the Outcome Rating Scale (ORS). Additionally, the study was aimed to illuminate the occurrence of treatment termination. Prior to the first therapeutic treatment occasion, half of the women estimated their well-being consistent with those seeking open psychiatric care and the approximate remaining half estimated a well-being consistent with those who do not seek treatment. Prior to the second occasion, nine women estimated a lesser psychological... (More)

Prior to the second occasion, nine women estimated a lesser psychological well-being compared to that from the first estimation. Lastly, eight women had interrupted their treatment and of these, five estimated a low well-being prior to the first occasion and three estimated a high well-being. In total, prior to the fourth occasion, 23 women participated where 18 estimated an improved psychological well-being and eight with a clinically reliable change according to the ORS-manual. A Pearson's correlation was used to investigate the relationships between the four subscales of the ORS showing a high correlation. (Less)
