The data is retrieved from ILOSTAT and World Bank Indicators. The results suggest that the prevalence of a U-shaped relationship depends on the indicator used for economic development. Furthermore, the agricultural sector, male unemployment and primary education seem to have a positive effect on female labor force participation, whereas female unemployment had negative effect of female labor force participation.
