The foundation to the study builds on the premises containing a well built welfare, gender equality work and a postmaterialist foundation which will serve as adequate prerequisites in order for political parties to prioritise intersectionality on gender equality.

The results from the study shows that there is an observable causality between high female representation and political parties prioritizing questions regarding gender equality with an intersectional perspective to a higher extent. (Less)
