Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
Abstract
Internet CBT (ICBT) has been around for adults since the late 1990s. In recent years ICBT has been developed for children and young people but research is limited. The ICBT program "Ångesthjälpen ung" was implemented at Child and adolescent psychiatry in Region Skåne in 2017. The purpose of this essay was to investigate parents' perception of the program "Ångesthjälpen ung" depending on their access to parent-dedicated chapters or not, and to map the therapist's use and perception of the program. Data was collected via surveys directed to the parents and surveys directed to the therapists. The surveys consisted of both qualitative and quantitative questions. Data was collected via surveys directed to the parents and surveys directed to the therapists. The surveys consisted of both qualitative and quantitative questions. The analysis method used for the qualitative questions was thematic analysis and for the quantitative part SPSS, Excel and Google docs were used. The results show that the parents who had access to the parent-dedicated chapters were more aware of the program than the parents who did not have access to the parent-dedicated chapters. Both parent groups reported moderate improvements in the child's function in school, social and family life. The results can, however, not be presented as representative, as they are based on a small sample, 16 survey responses. The results of the therapist's surveys are based on 41 answers out of 44 possible and can be seen as representative. The results show that the program works well on the Första linjen (primary care), less well on specialist psychiatry (specialist care). The therapists described a great need for structure around the continued work with ICBT. A large part of the therapists found it rewarding to work with ICBT. (Less)
