Effekter av transparens och typ, en experimentell studie kring förutsättningarna för effektiv nudging

Syftet med denna experimentella studie var att rikta ett psykologiskt fokus på påverkansmetoden nudging genom att utforska dess förutsättningar, begränsningar och bakomliggande mekanismer. Studien undersökte effektivitet i förhållande till olika typer av nudging baserat på dubbelprocessteorin och olika nivåer av transparens samt dess förhållande till upplevelsen av frihet att välja. Experimentet administrerades med en digital enkät där deltagarna slumpmässigt fördelades i tre olika grupper: kontrollgrupp, icke-transparent nudging och transparent nudging. Varje grupp fick svara på en enkät som responderade med gruppen. Typerna av nudging utformades efter hur de triggar System 1 och 2 och återfanns antingen i formulärets frågor eller svar.... (More)

Resultaten av studien indikerade, i linje med tidigare forskning, att nudging som metod var effektiv och, att transparens inte påverkar nudgingens effektivitet. I motsats till tidigare forskning kunde också en signifikant skillnad uppvisas mellan olika typer av nudging, där System 2 typ av nudging var mest effektiv. Studien fann också en likvärdig upplevelse i frihet att välja mellan de olika grupperna. Sammanfattningsvis kan det konstateras att resultaten visade att experimentet fyllt ett gap mellan praktisk applikation av nudging och teoretisk forskning inom psykologi. (Less)

In summary, it can be stated that this type of experiment fills a gap in psychological research between practical application of nudging and theoretical research. (Less)
