Secondly, based on this constructed theory of critical sociology of philosophy, the structural foundation of the opposition between analytical and continental philosophy is analyzed through an ideational approach on John Rawls' A Theory of Justice and Michel Foucault’s Histoire de la folie à l'âge classique. The thesis concludes that the former tradition is tied to the abstract dimension of the commodity and that the latter tradition is tied to its concrete dimension. (Less)
