Titel: Gruppdynamik inom projekt i byggbranschen

Syfte & Mål: Examensarbetets syfte är att undersöka vilken roll gruppdynamik
spelar i projekt inom byggbranschen för att säkerställa ett
framgångsrikt projekt . Målet med studien är att sammanfatta ifall
Myers Briggs Type Indicator och Tuckmans grupputvecklingsmodell
är verktyg som företag inom byggbranschen kan tillämpa för att öka
gruppdynamiken vid skapandet av grupper eller arbetslag för att
därmed öka chansen för ett framgångsrikt projekt.

Problemställning: - Vilka förutsättningar finns vid skapandet av en ny grupp?
- Hur utvecklas gruppen över tid?
- Hur hanteras konflikter inom gruppen?

Metod: Studien har genomförts genom en litteraturstudie samt en kvalitativ
enkätundersökning. Litteraturstudien har granskat litteratur och
forskningsarbeten som sedan har jämförts med erhållen respons från
enkätundersökningen, som totalt erhöll 7 svar.

Resultat: För en ny grupp följer grupputvecklingen Tuckmans
grupputvecklingsteori, vilken kan vara påverkbar vid
implementerandet av Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Konflikter i en ny
grupp kan även hanteras genom att använda sig av Myers Briggs Type
Indicator som ger projektgruppens medlemmar ett verktyg för att lära
känna varandras preferenser i ett tidigt skede och därmed minska
risken för konflikter likt en grupp som tidigare har erfarenheter av att
arbeta tillsammans från liknande projekt.

Title: Group dynamics in projects in the construction industry

Aim & Goal: The aim of the degree project is to investigate the role group
dynamics occupies in projects in the construction industry to ensure a
successful project. The goal of the study is to summarize if Myers
Briggs Type Indicator and Tuckman's group development theory are
tools that companies in the construction industry can apply to increase
group dynamics when creating groups or work teams, thereby
increasing the chance of a successful project.

Research questions: - What is the basis for creating a new group?
- How does the group develop over time?
- How are conflicts managed within the group?

Method: The study was conducted through a literature study and a qualitative
survey. The literature study has examined literature and research
work which then have then been compared with the response received
from the survey, which received a total of 7 responses.

Findings: For a new group, group development follows Tuckman's group
development theory, which may be influential in the implementation of
the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Conflicts in a new group can also be
managed by using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, which gives the
project group members a tool to get to know each other's preferences at
an early stage and thereby reduce the risk of conflicts similar to a
group that have previous experience of working together from similar
projects.
