Abstract
This bachelor thesis ‘’The new Fashion Designer’ - A netnographic study focusing on influencers role in the Swedish digitized fashion system’’ studies influencers as the new Fashion Designer in the digitized landscape. More specifically it aims to provide an understanding of how the confirmed Fashion Designers are represented through magazines, in comparison to how influencers are represented through social media as a Fashion Designer. The study also focuses on how digitalization has changed how fashion spreads and is mentioned nowadays. This thesis disputes different capitals that each actor in the system possibly can receive and how they receive these, which might be a difference between the actors depending on education, popularity or power.
