Abstract
This essay provides an insight into the situation in Israel today linked to the initial plan from 1947, on the division of the land area into a Jewish part and an Arab part. The area is characterized by armed conflicts both historically and in modern times. Four major Arab-Israeli wars have raged since the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948. Unrest is still raging along the Israel-Gaza-West Bank border but also within the country. It was primarily the Six-Day War in 1967 that meant major changes in the region and I have chosen to describe the magnitudes of these consequences linked to what it looks like in today's Israel and how the Palestinian population is treated.
