- Abstract
- The aim of this study is to examine the role of PR firm Qorvis as an intermediary actor in Saudi Arabian public diplomacy. Rather than explaining complex cultural and religious phenomena, Qorvis omitted crucial details, reducing the reader's interpretation of the two reforms included in the research. The cross-disciplinary field of communication and international politics is proving more important in an era of soft power. Yet, most countries and global political institutions do not require intermediary communicators such as Qorvis to register their work and clients in a transparency register. More studies on this field, preferably from a democratic perspective, are much encouraged. (Less)
