Abstract
One of the most revolutionary technological innovations in the last few decades has been the block chain technology. Since the herald of Bitcoin into daily life, the block chain has become a household name, but despite that, the law has been lagging behind, providing no unified answer on how to integrate this technology into society. Some view the technology as a means of more secure public certifications, while others predict that it will fundemantally alter the very fabric of society. These crypto anarchists have recently gained notoriety, but how do their ideas fit into the law? This thesis aims to compare the promises of blockchain technology against the principles of traditional rule of law, as well as compare lex Cryptographia to... (More)
