The goal of this study has been to qualitatively examine active patients' experiences of- and wellbeing with regards to their OST, as well as their perception of the treatment´s change in relation to the advancements of the NPM. The purpose has been to further complement the existing research within the field, as well as to inspire further discussion and research. We have conducted seven semi-structured interviews with active OST patients and analyzed the results based on the theory behind the expected effects of NPM as well as Antonovsky´s (1991) theory of Sense of coherence. The main findings include some confirmation regarding the consequences of NPM, as well as an interpretation of an improved well-being among the patients. (Less)
