Abstract
The study aims to uncover the discursive elements at work in Swedish public discourse on antisemitism. The study situates the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism in relation to Swedish discourse with the aim of measuring their congruence. Through analysing problematisations through a lens of Discourse Theory, a high degree of congruence between the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism and the conceptualisations of antisemitism in public discourse is found. The relationship between antisemitism and anti-Zionism is identified as an area... (More)

Through analysing problematisations through a lens of Discourse Theory, a high degree of congruence between the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism and the conceptualisations of antisemitism in public discourse is found. The relationship between antisemitism and anti-Zionism is identified as an area of significance and agreement with the definition. Instances of constitutive othering are difficult to motivate through the source material, an area for future research. (Less)
