- Forskning tyder på att jurister löper ökad risk att utveckla arbetsrelaterad ohälsa i form av utbrändhet, arbetsrelaterad stress och psykiskt lidande. Viss forskning pekar även på att arbetskrav inom branschen kan påverka manliga respektive kvinnliga jurister på olika sätt. Syftet med litteraturöversikten bestod i att systematiskt granska aktuell forskning, genomförd mellan 2012-2022, avseende vilka faktorer som kan relatera till utbrändhet, arbetsrelaterad stress och psykiskt lidande hos jurister. Litteraturöversikten utformades i enlighet med PRISMAs riktlinjer för kartläggande litteraturöversikter. Tio (n=10) artiklar mötte inklusionskriterierna. De inkluderade artiklarna undersökte hur arbetskrav eller stressorer inom juristers arbetsförhållanden samvarierade med arbetsrelaterad ohälsa. Därtill studerades könsskillnader associerade till dessa arbetskrav eller stressorer. Arbetskraven som relaterade till en ökad obalans mellan arbets- och privatliv identifierades som betydande för arbetsrelaterad ohälsa. I litteraturöversikten identifierades emellertid spridda resultat relaterade till könsskillnader. Således dras slutsatsen att det krävs ytterligare forskning för att vidare studera dessa fynd. En huvudsaklig begränsning bestod i svårigheten att generalisera litteraturöversiktens resultat på grund artiklarnas varierande syfte och utformning. Slutligen diskuteras praktiska implikationer för juristbranschen. (Less)

Findings indicate that job demands contributing to the lack of balance between work and family-life were factors associated to work-related distress. Regarding gender differences, the results were scattered. Thus, it can be concluded that further research is required in order to draw conclusions in regard to these findings. The generalizability of the findings in the scope may be limited due to differences concerning the studies aim and methodology. Lastly, practical and theoretical implications of these findings for the law industry are discussed. (Less)
