Abstract
This paper aims to discuss peace and its understanding with regards to peace education in Swedish curriculums. The purpose of the paper is to focus on education and peace since peace can be so many different things and different understandings of peace can result in conflict since people are referring to different things. Peace education is important to research since it provides worldviews and knowledge that will form the youth in the aimed education group. The paper aims to be a case study of Sweden and use a qualitative content analysis on the curriculum from 2022. The result from the paper shows that the Swedish curriculums shows patterns of positive peace and are highly tied to the theories of peace education. (Less)
