data were collected through ethnography, in four regions in Greece. Semistructured interviews and focus groups along with participant observations in
raising awareness projects were conducted and analysed through thematic analysis.
From the results it is found that the degree of installation and patriotism are crucial
on how close the women feel for the Greek state and society. Social agency, the
patriarchal structure and racism also plays a vital role. Concerning the four elements
of citizenship that are presented above, women who live in houses compared to the
ones who live in camps appear to feel closer to Greek society. Lastly, it was found
that education and age in relation to citizenship is explored. (Less)
