- Some say that if Sweden join the Euro, it will increase the welfare in the economy. On the other hand, there are those who are skeptical toward Sweden joining the Euro, because it might risk the control over the currency to dropped and for the competitiveness to be lost. The international trade is large and important facto to increase the GNP growth. That is why this paper tend to examine to what extend Euro would affect the international trade. This paper is built on an assumption about quasi—natural experiment and a difference-in-difference method. The period will be limited to a period between the years 1989 and 2019. The international trade is large and important facto to increase the GNP growth. That is why this paper tend to examine to what extend Euro would affect the international trade. The reason to this is because during these 10 years a lot have happened, and it should not affect the result. The calculations will be made by a regression analysis and show that there is a positive significant and difference between having the Euro or not. The conclusions shows that it is more profitable regarding the economy for the countries that this paper discusses to join the Euro. (Less)
