- This essay will examine the interpretation of the annual FIFA bidding process that led to the
world cup 2018 and 2022. The FIFA bidding process is based on the principles of transparency and equality. FIFA evaluation group announced that Russia’s bid for the world cup 2018 and Qatar’s bid for the world cup 2022 had the most votes. The both host countries
were announced in 2010 by the FIFA evaluation group. Criticism towards whether the bidding process truly was transparent and equal arose after the announcement. Values such as
integrity, objectiveness and transparency are to be respected during the election and the bidding. On the surface everything seems spotless, but another side would be disclosed as a digging investigation...
