This paper aims to examine how the different responses in strategy from Sverigedemokraterna and Dansk Folkeparti have affected their results in recent elections, using data from The Manifesto Project in a quantitative analysis. The results point to a difference in the populist parties strategies, where adaptation to the political climate and voters' current interests seems essential to continued survival. (Less)
