Abstract
The study examines social workers' viewpoints regarding the SKAPA tool within the Labor Market Administration's strategies, particularly about its use to support economically vulnerable individuals and their labor market integration. We conducted semi-structured interviews with social workers working with the SKAPA tool, whom we recruited through personal contacts as well as by telephone and e-mail. The social workers believe that the tool increases the client's awareness of their goals and strengthens their participation in their development. In addition, SKAPA requires... (More)

The social workers believe that the tool increases the client's awareness of their goals and strengthens their participation in their development. In addition, SKAPA requires an active commitment from both social workers and clients, which promotes cooperation and self-determination. One of the biggest advantages is that the tool provides a clear picture of the individual's situation, leading to effective labor market planning. (Less)
