Particularly, regarding how the presence of immigrant students influences academic performance, labor market outcomes and integration into the host country. Our findings indicate that an increase in the share of immigrant students positively influences overall student performance. Interestingly, we observe heterogeneous effects between student subgroups, with a more pronounced effect observed for second-generation immigrants. These results highlight the importance of integrating immigrant students to foster a high-performing academic environment. Future research is needed to discover the mechanisms behind these positive effects (Less)
