Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Kungliga dramatiska teatern

- Abstract (Swedish)
- Denna rapport skapades inom kursen VBRN70 Brandteknisk Riskvärdering vid Lunds
universitet.

matades in i datorprogrammen.
under platsbesöket.

Several possible fire scenarios were identified based on a site visit and statistics from
similar buildings. Out of these, three fire scenarios were chosen for further analysis. The
fires were simulated using FDS, and evacuation was modelled using Pathfinder.
Scenario 1A is a fire in the audience wardrobe on floor 3.
Scenario 1B is a fire in the audience wardrobe on floor 5.
Scenario 2 is a fire in a storage area on floor 2, right underneath the front row seats.
The fire growth rates, and heat release rates were calculated by hand and input to the
computer programs. Relevant assumptions were made both for the fire simulations and
evacuation simulations. Results show that there is enough time to evacuate in all three
scenarios, however it is by very small margin in some cases. There were also a few defects
in the technical fire protection identified during the initial site visit. Therefore, suggestions
of improvements in the fire safety design are given towards the end of the report. (Less)
