The results revealed that primary care counselors help normalize grief by offering a safe space for patients to process grief without fear of judgment. The title of the study is a quote from one of the counselors, illustrating how grief often occupies a more reserved, private space in a secularized societal context, leading to loneliness. Counselors recognize that social media can provide an open platform for sharing and learning about grief. The study contributes valuable insights into the primary care counselor’s perspective on grief from a professional point of view within an organization that often serves as the population's first contact with healthcare.
