Abstract
This bachelor course, Architecture in the Contemporary, focuses on exploring the spatial and communicative aspects of the 'Naturrum' through surface modeling experiments. Throughout the course, various approaches have been used to engage with the core themes of the subject. Utilizing Rhino and Grasshopper, along with a narrative-driven design process, we have been introduced to the concept of "wicked problems" in architecture. The goal of the course was to design a 'Naturrum' within the old quarry in Limhamn, emphasizing the exploration of architectural space and communication in the context of this unique environment.
