- Abstract
- This study aims to increase the understanding of the parents' experiences with children sitting at home. In our results, we see a consensus between our interviewees where the experience is that they have not been listened to. The result further shows that the cooperation between home and school is problematic because compulsory education weighs heavily on the role of parents. All interviewees feel that this entails difficult decisions in their everyday lives. We can also see a pattern in our empirical work where professionals do not understand parents' experiences. (Less)
