- 本论文调查:1) 中国文化如何通过电子游戏《原神》得到反映呈现和输出,以及 2) 《原神》的游戏体验如何影响了瑞典游戏玩家对中国的看法。近几十年来,软实力在中国的重要性增加了,而电子游戏是一种新的战略。五位瑞典《原神》玩家接受了采访,了解表达了他们的游戏体验以及在通过游戏中形成的对中国文化和社会的看法。本论文比较了对国内和全球的《原神》版本之间的差异进行了比较。本论文发现,文化不仅体现在游戏中的璃月地区,也体现在呈现其他文化中。本文的结论是,《原神》对瑞典玩家对中国的看法有积极和消极两方面的影响。

- This thesis investigates 1) How Chinese culture is represented and exported through the video game Genshin Impact, and 2) How the gaming experience of Genshin Impact influences Swedish players’ perception of China. Soft power has increased in importance in recent decades in China and video games are a new strategy. Five Swedish Genshin Impact players were interviewed about their experience and perception of Chinese culture and society in the game.
