Prillan i centrum: personlighetsdrag, framtidsorientering och snusvanor

- Abstract
- This study investigated the relationship between snus consumption, personality traits as measured by the Neutralized Big Five Inventory (NB5I), and future orientation assessed using the Consideration of Future Consequences (CFC) scale. Data were collected from 86 university students aged 20–29 through an online survey combining the Neutralized Big Five Inventory (NB5I) and CFC scale. Results indicated no significant differences in personality traits for extraversion and neuroticism between snus users and non- users. However, significant differences were observed in future orientation where snus users scored higher on immediate consequence focus (CFCI) and lower on total future consideration (CFC). Comparisons between users of... (More)

Comparisons between users of nicotine-based and tobacco-based snus showed a difference where users of nicotine-based snus reported higher neuroticism scores, though this difference was not statistically significant. These findings on snus consumption raise questions about how personality traits and future orientation influence the use of substances like snus. Future research could explore how these factors interact longitudinally and explore broader demographic areas. (Less)

Resultaten visade inga signifikanta skillnader i personlighetsdragen extraversion
(Less)
