Abstract
The population of western scholars and students shows signs of ideological bias in terms of its composition and willingness to self-censor. This study surveyed a Swedish student population (N =89) of predominantly social scientists on ideology (Moral Foundations; MFQ-20 and Social Dominance Orientation; S-SDO). The study also explored the relation between self-censorship (SC), age, gender and university years. The results showed significant correlations between student SC and the measures of progressivism (r =- .48), social dominance orientation (r = .51) and gender (r = .24).
No significant relationship was found between SC and university years. The paper contains discussion on the need for a larger sample which is representative in... (More)

Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
