Abstract (Swedish)
Studien hade 83... (More)

(Less)
Abstract
Work-life balance is a workplace issue that is increasing in relevance at both the organizational and individual levels. The topic is particularly relevant for high school teachers, a profession that has seen a rise in burnout and long-term sick leave in recent years. The study aims to analyze how high school teachers free time, work, and work-life balance are interconnected and influence each other, and whether there is a stronger relationship between any of these factors and work-life balance. To investigate the impact of work and free time on high school teachers' work-life balance, a survey was created consisting of 15 questions about Work-life balance, 10 questions about Work, and 10 questions about Free time, based on established... The study had 83 participants who were selected using convenience sampling. The linear regression conducted in the study found a significant result confirming that work and free time influence work-life balance as two important predictors when measuring work-life balance. The study's conclusion is that Work and Free time have a significant impact on a high school teacher's Work-life balance. (Less)
