- Abstract
- This report starts by delivering a statement of its purpose, namely, to explore and learn from the entire building process, through the construction of a small sauna on a raft. It begins with a brief inventory of bathing culture and its history throughout the world before arriving at the Finnish sauna and the bathing culture of the Swedish west coast. The project and its concept is then introduced. This consist of an architectural program of five criteria, relevant referential projects, sketches, explanations and inspirations together with a presentation and analysis of the building site.
