Abstract (Swedish)
This study aims to explore how it is experienced to be swedish-hungarian in Sweden today. This question is answered by looking at three aspects; double belonging, Hungarian culture and the political situation in Hungary today. The research is based on eight interviews done with people between the ages of 21-26 that either have one or both parents from Hungary or Transylvania, or are themselves born in Hungary and moved to Sweden at a young age. The study shows how their ethnicity and Hungarian identity is fluid and dependent on the context.
