The data sampled are the manifestos published and translated into English by both parties from 2014, 2019, and 2024. This thesis explores and hypothesizes whether the issue of caste and caste-based discrimination was a ballot issue during the Lok Sabha... (More)

The thesis concludes with a recommendation for further research into the Lok Sabha elections. India is currently the world’s largest practicing democracy; therefore, it is important to study each election in order to reflect on trends that were seen throughout campaigns. (Less)
