- Abstract
- This bachelor thesis explores nonbinary people’s experiences of joy and community, as well as how we are affected by social exclusion, anti-gender ideology, unintelligibility, and questions about whether nonbinary people actually exist. Nonbinary people can feel alienated by cis-, hetero- and transnormativity, but the participants in this thesis illustrate how joyful community can become a site of resistance, a way of feeling more at home, and, ultimately, the basis for more
