The empirical analysis shows that the campaign relies heavily on emotionally charged language, portraying Sweden and Swedish institutions as intentionally targeting Muslim families with systematic, state-sponsored child abduction. Overall, the thesis aims to contribute to a broader understanding on how disinformation campaigns have the ability to shape and reshape international perceptions of states by deploying emotional and value-laden narratives.
