Abstract
The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the personality questionnaire 30 aspects, which is based on the five-factor model. Our aim was to investigate the properties of the questionnaire through explorative factor analysis and reliability ratings. We also set out to explore the factor structure of the test to decide whether the instrument agreed with the five-factor model or not. The questionnaire was administered on the Internet to a sample (N=222) consisting of both students and workers in the age range 17-66. The majority of aspects had high Cronbach's alpha coefficients, but some of them included items with low values. A factor analysis revealed that each rotated factor correlated with one of the dimensions in the test. The... (More)

The majority of aspects had high Cronbach's alpha coefficients, but some of them included items with low values. A factor analysis revealed that each rotated factor correlated with one of the dimensions in the test. The correlation between the aspects and the factors were adequate, but some of the aspects correlated with the incorrect factor. In sum the results revealed that the examined questionnaire over all had satisfying internal validity, however some revision will be necessary. Keywords: five-factor model, personality questionnaire, factor analysis, internal validity (Less)
