- Abstract
- The purpose of this essay was to examine how girls in the years of 17- 18 experience the differences between being a teenager or a young adult. In my attempts to find out what the girls believed themselves to be I have used the following questions; · How did the girls experience themselves, as teenager or as young adult? · What did the girls considered about the differences being a teenager or being a young adult? · How did the girl experiences possible demands and expectations? · Did the girls believed that there was differences in how to apprehend the border between being a teenager or an young adult if you are a girl whit an foreign background or an Swedish background? I have used a quality method by interview five girls, three in the years of seventeen and two in the years of eighteen. The outcome of my essay showed that two of the girls looked on themselves as being teenagers, two of the girls believed themselves to be young adult and one answered that it was depended on the situation whether she considered here selves as a teenager or an young adult.
