- Abstract
- The purpose of our thesis was to examine how the drug-education at the senior level of compulsory school was constructed, seen from its purpose and apprehension of its influence. This considering the existing conditions for the school personnel and the pupils to reach each other in the educational situation. We wanted to describe this from both groups point of view. - The purpose of our thesis was to examine how the drug-education at the senior level of compulsory school was constructed, seen from its purpose and apprehension of its influence. Our method was a qualitative case study based on interviews with pupils and school personnel. Concerning the drug-education, there was no common explicit purpose among the interviewees and there seemed to be two dominant strategies. The school personnel believed that the pupils perceived the drug-education as positive, while neither one of them believed that it had any direct effect. Both pupils and school personnel wished to change the drug-education and expressed a number of suggestions how to achieve this. (Less)
