- Abstract
- The aim of this essay was to examine and describe, from how it finds expression among professionals, factors of protection for refugee children that promote well-being and a favourable development in their new country. By interviewing professionals and by using a salutogenetic perspective this was investigated. My results show that there are four themes of factors that are of importance. Factors depending on the background, factors related to the structural category, factors explained by the characteristics of the child and finally, factors related to the family of the child and to other social contacts in the network of the child.
