- Abstract
- The purpose for this study was to see if Swedish handicap policy is living up to the goal too give disabled women full citizenship. Handicap policy is studied from outcomes of the decisions from the Swedish law of help and service for some disabled (LSS) and from the socially law (SoL) during year 2000 in Staffanstorp community. The main question is; How's the welfare for disabled women? The method has been to use both earlier research and to make a document study of my own in Staffanstorp community. The result of the study is that women have more difficulties to receive full citizenship, as it's a judgement if they considers belong to LSS. Those women who get access to LSS have at possibility to achieve a good living standard because most of the insert are free of charge unlike insert according SoL, which also have increased during 1990 th .
