The results were that previous research clearly showed that risk theories is a very useful tool in predicting future criminality. These theories were used to great extent by YOT and the museum. In Britain, however, detention is very commonly used even for very young persons which is believed to be labelling. I argued that risk theory must be used with precaution otherwise criminality seems to be explained with individual factors rather then be placed within the realm and responsibility of society where I found prevention would be most efficient.
