Abstract
The purpose of our paper was to examine what it is like to be a young mother in todays society. We have focused on the young mothers social network and how people around them has been treating them. We have also looked at what kind of support the young mothers get from the society and how they picture their future. We have been working out of a qualitative method of inquiry and interviewed ten mothers in the age of 20 to 25. Our paper is also based on former research and literature regarding young mothers. We have come to the conclusion that the young mothers in our paper have got a network that is relatively large, with exception from the single mothers.
