In the analysis of the material, mainly based in the works of Foucault and Apslund, a similar pattern can be detected in the stories, concerning the division of spaces into rooms and the constriction of clients to specific rooms and times, something which can be linked to Foucault’s ideas of the micro physics of power. Also, when it comes to social workers attitudes and treatment of clients, links could be made to Asplund's concept of micro power. The main achievement of the essay, however, has been to show the power in the meeting between social worker and client. (Less)
