- Occupational balance is a complex phenomenon with a number of different definitions. In this study, which purpose was to investigate how working occupational therapists describe and experience occupational balance, eight occupational therapists participated.
The study had a qualitative approach including focus group interviews as a method. As the method of analysis qualitative content analysis with manifest content was used. The results showed that occupational balance is an individual experience, which is related to health. Furthermore, occupational balance was seen as a non-constant phenomenon that is affected by different factors.
