Abstract
The aim of this study has been to investigate the nurses’ perception of their work situation in home- help service for the elderly. We focused our study on the relationship the nurses have to their supervisor, colleagues and their patients and the influences these have on the nurses’ job satisfaction. Furthermore we wanted to learn the nurses’ view on their role as a nurse. We used a qualitative based method to conduct our semi-structured interviews. The people we interviewed were nurses that work in home-help service in two different workplaces.
