Abstract
We have in our thesis examined energy system for small houses for Skanska Teknik AB. The environment is a current issue in our society and buildings from the past are rarely energy effective, since many houses built during the seventies had heating based on oil or direct electricity. In new buildings it is more and more important to be energy efficient, to meet the demands from our future environment, an aspect that construction companies are aware of to be attractive on the market. Current and coming rules in Sweden are demanding a higher standard and a more innovative thinking. In our thesis we’ve used two standard houses that Skanska Nya Hem has projected in Malmö and in Göteborg. These houses have been calculated in the aspects of energy and efficiency and as a result good combinations of heating, electricity and heating of tap water have been presented. The combinations come from manufacturers and installers through direct contact; interviews, or through their home pages. The combinations that were most interesting has been evaluated and summed up. The energy calculations have been done in the program Vip+. The result shows that a heat pump based on soil or bedrock combined with a FTX-unit, according to our knowledge, is the best solution. The yearly household expenses for heating the house and tap water with these combinations totals in approximately 7000 Swedish kr in both cases. Extra installations, like waste water recycling and solar heating, are at some times accounted for, but only gives a small yearly saving, and are therefore not profitable. We have also been in contact with energy- and net companies with questions regarding the selling of surplus electricity from solar cells or wind power stations from own lots, since we’ve seen an interest in producing one’s own electricity for the household and installations in the house. Key words:
Solar cells
Solar heating
Wind power
Heat pumps
Waste air heat pump
Recycling ventilation systems
Isolation
District heating
Bedrock heating
Recycling hot water
Energy calculations (Less)
